APSAC & CCP Among US Organizations Expressing Concern about Treatment of Children at US Border

Forty-five national organizations and 157 statewide groups have endorsed a letter to Congress, expressing grave concern with the ongoing treatment of children at the United States border and urging Congress and the current Administration to immediately end these abusive acts toward children.

The letter, sent by The National Child Abuse Coalition, and addressed to Senate and House Leadership, states that “many of the conditions faced by these children violate child abuse statutes all around the country," and that conditions faced by these children "draw clear comparisons to child abuse."
